But now, according to Nicolo Schira, he is being seriously targeted by AC Milan, who want him on a permanent basis.
The Rossoneri have made the Croatian World Cup finalist their first-choice for the summer, but Schira claims they will have to cough up at least €20m (£18m) to land the experienced centre-back.

The fans, however, seem to think selling is the best course of action the Reds can take at the moment, as they have often shamed Lovren for his performances at Anfield.
The 30-year-old defender has also struggled for fitness in recent times. He was injured three times last season and missed a total of 13 games along the way. With that in mind, it is perhaps no surprise fans are willing the club to cash in.
