da betsul: Everton come off the back of a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City with another tough game as they host Tottenham at Goodison Park on Sunday, and here at Football FanCast we want to know whether Dominic Calvert-Lewin should be selected to lead the line once again.
The 21-year-old grabbed Everton’s only goal at the Etihad with a header from Lucas Digne’s cross, but in truth he has struggled in front of goal this season.
In fact, the England U21 international has only netted three goals in 15 Premier League appearances so far this season, and Everton boss Marco Silva should revert to playing summer signing Richarlison up front.
The Brazilian would provide more of a test for the Tottenham back four than Calvert-Lewin, as Toby Alderweireld and co. would prefer to play against a striker who looks to hold the ball up as opposed to one who will run in-behind like Richarlison.
So, Everton fans, would you like to see Calvert-Lewin starting on Sunday? Have your say by voting in the poll below.
