West Ham fans are on a high right now after their side secured their fourth Premier League win in a row on Saturday, beating Fulham 2-0, and the stand-out form of midfielder Robert Snodgrass is something that is becoming a regular discussion on Twitter.
The 31-year-old has been excellent for Manuel Pellegrini’s side in recent weeks, and it took him just 17 minutes to break the deadlock at Craven Cottage as he curled the ball past Sergio Rico from outside the 18-yard box.
Michail Antonio then doubled the Hammers’ lead just 12 minutes later, and the visitors held on to climb into the top half of the table.
It has been a remarkable return to form at West Ham for Snodgrass, after the Scottish international spent last season on loan with Aston Villa in the Championship. Under Pellegrini though he is becoming an unlikely hero in that central midfield role, and he has now netted four goals and provided an impressive seven assists in all competitions this season.
