Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink enjoyed notable spells in the Premier League, representing Chelsea, Leeds and Middlesbrough during a fine career.
The Dutchman sits just outside the top ten of all-time Premier League top scorers after netting 127 times, and twice won the golden boot back in 1999 and 2001 with Leeds and Chelsea respectively.
The former striker is proving just as successful in management, and after guiding Burton Albion to promotion by lifting the League Two title he could one day make a return to the top flight.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy
Another of the Premier League’s great goalscorers was Ruud van Nistelrooy who arrived in England in 2001 after his switch from PSV to Manchester United.
In five years at Old Trafford, the Dutchman went onto become one of the club’s best strikers after netting 95 times in 150 appearances, picking up the golden boot in 2003 during a title-winning campaign.
The prolific Dutchman also won an FA Cup and League Cup prior to his move to Real Madrid in 2006, before retiring from football in 2012 after ending his career with Malaga.
Edwin van der Sar
Manchester United continue to feature in the run-down and next up comes their former goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar.
The shot stopper started his career with Ajax, before spells at Juventus and Fulham.
During his time in London he became an established Premier League goalkeeper, which led to a call from Sir Alex Ferguson as he continued to seek a replacement for former star Peter Schmeichel.
And Van der Sar finally became the man to fill the void left by the Dane, helping United to four Premier League titles as well as Champions League success in 2008, after he made the crucial save from Chelsea’s Nicolas Anelka in the penalty shoot-out on a dramatic night in Moscow.
Robin van Persie
Despite question marks over his future after a recent dip in form, Robin van Persie has flourished over the past few seasons, scoring a number of great goals during his time in England as he became one of the most feared strikers in the Premier League.
The Dutchman shot to fame at Arsenal after eight years with the Gunners, scoring 96 goals, before a transfer to Manchester United in 2012.
Twice a golden boot winner, he fired United to the Premier League title, scoring a volley on route to completing his hat-trick as Sir Alex Ferguson’s side wrapped up the trophy at Old Trafford.
With 144 goals to his name, Van Persie has taken his place inside the Premier League’s top 10 all-time leading scorers list, and hopefully he will still be around next season to make his way higher up the ranks.
Dennis Bergkamp
Dennis Bergkamp comes in at number one thanks to his outstanding career with Arsenal where he highlighted his ability as one of the finest technical players to grace the Premier League.
Two-time Dutch footballer of the year, Bergkamp joined Arsenal from Ajax, and spent 11 years with the Gunners, scoring well over 100 goals including 87 league strikes.
Part of the famous ‘Invincible’ title-winning team, the forward scored a number of memorable goals for Arsene Wenger’s side, in particular that superb individual effort at St James’ Park.
Bergkamp won three league titles and four FA Cups with the club, and was also runner up in the Champions League back in 2006, as he tops the list as the greatest Dutch import to England’s top flight.
