Considering the fact that it was reported the Hammers were demanding a fee of around £80 million for Rice last summer, the fact that the midfielder is now a regular England international, as well as performing extremely well for West Ham in their push for a Champions League finish this term, it would certainly appear unlikely that the club’s asking price for the 22-year-old would have decreased over the course of this season.
